How Wheatbags Work
The heat of the warm wheatbag seeps into sore muscles (think of those stressed shoulders or sore necks!) and encourages increased blood flow into the area.
This in turn allows the muscle fibres to unknot and relax which helps to reduce muscle pain.

It’s simple, natural and very effective!

Wheatbags are a great replacement for the old hot water bottle and very popular for keeping warm in winter! Perfect for warming you on the couch, keeping cold feet warm or for pre-heating your bed before you jump in on cold nights.

How To Use
Put your wheatbag in the microwave on high for 2 minutes.

Do not heat for more than 2 and half minutes as they become too hot to put comfortably on your skin. Keep in mind wheatbags may not feel very warm when you first remove them from the microwave as the heat is concentrated in the middle of the bag. Give it a shake to distribute the heat and feel it warm up!

Then place on areas of soreness or aching. Allow time for the heat to gently seep into the muscles or sore area. The heatpack will last between 30-45 min depending on the surrounding air temperature.

Wheatbags also make great cold packs. Place in the freezer for at least 30min until it’s cold. Don’t worry it won’t freeze as there’s no water content! You can even store it in there so it’s always ready. Keep it in a freezer safe container. Then you can use it on sprains and strains where cold is necessary to reduce inflammation and pain.

Designs
Kim creates all of the designs from her watercolour paintings which focus on native Australian flora and fauna.

The Wattle design features one of the happiest flowers around with their bright and fluffy pom pom like flowers. The print is on the front of the wheatbag and has a lovely soft tumeric coloured cotton on the back. 

The Banksia Sky design features the view of the multi-coloured blues, greens and creams of the banksia leaves as seen from underneath looking up unto the beautiful bright blue sky. The print is on the front of the wheatbag and has a lovely soft blue cotton on the back.

The Grevillea design features the beautiful flowers of the Grevillea with their delicate individual curling petals and long stamens. The print is on the front of the wheatbag and has a lovely soft pink cotton on the back.

The Heart Gum design features the new growth of the Silver Dollar gum with its beautiful heart shaped leaves. The print is on the front of the wheatbag and has a lovely soft green cotton on the back.
